Ben was recently released from prison for cryptocurrency fraud, Luther is now a stripper, Allison stars in commercials, Klaus is a low-key but overly cautious germaphobe, and Victor runs his own bar
far from everyone else. Diego is an untrained delivery driver who is married to Lila and has a child, but thinks he can get into the CIA. Five is a real-life member of the CIA who goes undercover to learn more about a group of people called the Keepers
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Review
The ending is bittersweet, but it feels tainted by the complete disconnect of three characters, the lack of growth for others, and the repetition of familiar storylines we’ve already experienced, such as Klaus’ drug and alcohol addiction.
There are timelines in which this final season could have taken a completely different direction and had more episodes, but unfortunately we live in a timeline in which Steve Blackman and six episodes led to the downfall of The Umbrella Academy. It’s a great credit to Steve Blackman that this comic series, which was one of the best when it was first published, has become one of the worst.
