Antonio Flores is a humble valet who lives with his mother, Cecilia, and is separated from his wife, Isabel, with whom he shares custody of their teenage son. His neighborhood is facing the threat of gentrification, a cause that local bike shop owner Natalie is actively fighting against. At the same time, actress Olivia Allan is secretly involved in an affair with Vincent Royce, a married billionaire and city developer. One evening, while Olivia is getting into an Uber with Vincent by her side, Antonio accidentally crashes his bike into the car. A photo of the three of them is taken, leading to rumors of Olivia and Vincent’s affair.
Fearing a costly divorce and the potential loss of his company if his wife Kathryn finds out, Vincent devises a plan: Olivia and Antonio should pretend to be a couple. Olivia agrees to the scheme, hoping to avoid bad publicity before the premiere of her latest movie, Earhart, where she stars as Amelia Earhart. In return, Antonio requests $12,850 to help pay off Isabel’s debts. Their first public outing as a couple is a lunch surrounded by paparazzi. Olivia is cold and manipulative, while Antonio feels out of place. The media buys into the act, though Kathryn remains unconvinced and hires a private investigator to follow them. At the Earhart premiere, Kathryn confronts Antonio, criticizing his occupation. Antonio, however, defends himself and his dignity. As he leaves the event, Antonio realizes that his newfound fame, especially within the Latin American community, is growing. Later, Antonio and his friends help escort a drunk Olivia home, ensuring she avoids any embarrassing run-ins with the paparazzi.

They should definitely make more movies like this, but without the inclusion of the extra-marital affair concept. On the flip side, the movie is funny, charming, and exceptionally well-delivered with its talented cast, screenplay, and storyline. What truly stood out was the compassion, bond, and unlikely friendship between the characters, especially the connection between the celebrity and the valet. It was heartwarming and well-executed, making the film even more enjoyable.
