The Greatest of All Time (also marketed as GOAT) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language sci-fi action film directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. In the film, Vijay plays a dual role alongside Prashant, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Amer, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Choudhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren and Yugendran. It is the studio’s 25th film and Vijay’s penultimate film before entering politics. The film tells the story of Gandhi, a former leader of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad, who reconciles with members of the squad to resolve issues arising from his past actions.

As the film will be Vijay’s 68th film, it was officially announced in May 2023 with the working title Thalapathy 68, and the official title was announced in December this year. Principal photography began in October 2023 and took place sporadically in several phases. Filming locations included Chennai, Thailand, Hyderabad, Sri Lanka, Pondicherry, Thiruvananthapuram, Russia and the United States, with filming wrapping up at the end of June 2024.
