Photographer Victor Fielding and his pregnant wife, Solenne, are on honeymoon in Haiti when a devastating earthquake strikes. Solenne is seriously injured, and paramedics tell Victor to choose between saving his wife or his child.
Thirteen years later, Victor has lost faith in God since Solenne’s death and is raising his daughter, Angela, alone in Georgia. One day after school, Angela goes into the woods with her best friend, Catherine West, a Baptist, to hold a séance and try to contact Angela’s mother. The girls disappear, and a three-day search begins.
The Exorcist: Believer Movie Review
I really liked this movie. He had his own plot, which was simple but excellent and not exaggerated. The makeup was really devilish and made the girls look amazing. Katherine looked very similar to Reagan in the original, the acting of all the actors was perfect, and the return of Ellen Burstyn and Linda Blair gave the ending a perfect and very emotional touch. CGI was finally used properly and not overused like in most Horror movies. Personally, I think David Green and Jason Blum did a very impressive job with their reboot of the 1973 classic.
