The Colors Within Movie Story
Totsuko is a high school student with a unique gift—she can see the ‘colors’ that reflect people’s emotions. These colors, representing bliss, excitement, and serenity, paint her world with vibrant hues, but there’s one color that stands out as her favorite. That color shines brightest around Kimi, a classmate whose aura captivates Totsuko like no other.
Although Totsuko doesn’t play an instrument, she is drawn to Kimi’s radiant presence and decides to form a band with him. They are soon joined by Rui, a quiet music lover they encounter in a hidden used bookstore tucked away in a distant part of town. Together, the trio begins practicing in an old church on a secluded island, where the music they create becomes the thread that weaves their lives together.
As they spend time together, their music not only strengthens their friendship but also awakens deeper feelings. In this serene yet emotionally charged setting, Totsuko, Kimi, and Rui discover the power of music to connect hearts, create memories, and stir affections they never expected.
