In 1985 Los Angeles, during the Night Stalker murders, Maxine Minx lands a lead role in the Horror film, The Puritan II, despite her past in adult films. After sharing the news with friends, she declines a party invitation and works at a live peep show where a mysterious figure watches.
Later, a VHS tape reveals an old porn film she made, leading her on a dangerous path involving murders and secrets. Maxine is caught in a web of deception and must confront her past to survive.
MaXXXine Movie Review
I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn’t terribly scary but that was really the point. It has that 80’s gore and classic Hollywood Horror touch. While the last two movies did have that same classic gore and Horror feeling, this movie really ramped that up for MaXXXine and it fit perfectly with the Hollywood setting.
