In 2029, the world has seen no new mutants born for 25 years, leaving an aging Logan grappling with the decline of his healing abilities. However, their plan takes a dark turn when Logan discovers that Gabriela has been murdered Soon after, Logan finds himself face-to-face with Donald Pierce, the ruthless cyborg security chief of Transigen, who is on the hunt for Laura.
