The film revolves around the bond between a paternal uncle and his niece, who go through many hardships after the latter’s disappearance. Kumar came up with the idea for the novel after reading stories of child sexual abuse and meeting government officials, non-governmental organisations and survivors of child abuse.

palani-based Eeswaran works for the government and develops a strong affinity and protective relationship with his eight-year-old niece Sundari. In addition, Eeswaran has a few close pals. Vadivelu, an undercover police officer, whose niece Ponni is close friends with Sundari, is one of them. Unable to understand her older sister’s passionate chat with her beau, Ponni surmises that there are plenty of deer in the nearby forest and asks Sundari if she would like to visit the animals after school.
The two girls intend to travel to the area alone after leaving Eeswaran. As planned, Ponni and Sundari take an auto rikshaw to the location.

I recently viewed the film. The story was excellent, and Siddarth’s acting was superb. The film does a fantastic job of portraying the struggle for justice and the importance of being there for his niece.The little things that added up to a big impact, like how he didn’t consider it “just happened to some other girl why should I take justice” and instead exacts revenge on that other girl as well,
Are what give the film such a lovely message. Every victim of sexual harassment or rape should be considered as our problem in order to bring justice to the victims, even though as humans we are always inclined to believe that it was not our child or our girl.
