Beeruva Movie Story

The film tells the quirky story of Sanju (Sundeep Kishan), a young man with an unusual attachment to his almirah (closet). From childhood, Sanju discovers that the almirah is the safest place to hide, and it becomes a constant in his life, almost like a character of its own. Despite holding an MA degree, Sanju has no interest in joining his father Suryanarayana’s (Naresh) business. Frustrated by his son’s lack of direction, Suryanarayana tries to steer him onto the right path, which ends up changing Sanju’s life mission.

Sanju’s world is turned upside down when he meets Swathi (Surbhi), a girl who captivates him the moment she asks him to draw the curtains. However, when Swathi learns about Sanju’s true identity, she is furious. Undeterred, Sanju falls head over heels for her, despite the immense challenge that comes with winning her heart—Swathi’s father, Adikeshavulu (Mukesh Rishi), is no ordinary man. He is a powerful don who runs an underground empire and has political influence, making him a dangerous figure to cross.

Beeruva Movie Review

Kanmani’s direction leans towards delivering a breezy and entertaining film. While the concept of incorporating a closet into the storyline adds a novelty factor, the screenplay could have been tighter, especially in the second half, where the pace slightly dips. The film doesn’t delve into complex emotions or plotlines, keeping things simple and light, which works for the most part The film is packed with humorous situations, with the closet gimmick providing plenty of laughs throughout.

The comedy, though light-hearted, may seem a bit too simplistic for some viewers. The romantic track between Sanju and Swathi is conventional but sweet, appealing to audiences who enjoy easygoing rom-coms The film’s music, composed by SS Thaman, adds a fun and youthful vibe, with a few catchy songs. The cinematography by Chota K. Naidu captures the film’s lighthearted tone well, especially in the colorful song sequences Beeruva is a feel-good romantic comedy with a quirky premise that offers decent entertainment, particularly for fans of light-hearted rom-coms. While it doesn’t break any new ground, its humor, Sundeep Kishan’s performance, and the unusual closet twist make it a fun watch for those looking for a simple, entertaining film.
