In Thiyagavalli village, Cuddalore, two years ago, Rajasekar, also known as Bheemarasu, lived contentedly with his father and daughter. He is happy when Divya receives her diploma. Divya leaves for Perambalur two months after graduating in order to pursue her master’s degree. Eighteen months later, Kathir, Divya’s classmate, visits Bheemarasu’s home. According to Divya, Kathir aspires to marry her because he likes her. Divya cries as she tells her father what occurred one day when she returns home.
