The A-Team Movie Story

Eight years later, in Iraq, Hannibal is contacted by CIA Special Activities Division agent Lynch, who sends her on a covert mission to acquire U.S. license plates and over $1 billion in cash being transported in an armored convoy from Baghdad. Hannibal’s commander, General Morrison, agrees to the operation, but Morrison seems to have some regrets about the mission. Faith’s former lover, Captain Carissa Sosa of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, also tries to dissuade the team from retrieving the license plates. The mission continues and is successful anyway, but when the team returns to base, both the money and Morrison’s car are destroyed by Brock Pike and his men of the private security company Black Forest.

Without Prime Minister Morrison, it is the only evidence that Hannibal, Faith, Murdock, and B.A. had the authority to act. They were court-martialed and sentenced to 10 years in separate maximum security prisons, and were dishonorably released. Since the license plate was her responsibility, Sosa was demoted to second lieutenant.Six months later, Lynch visits Hannibal in prison and tells him that Pike may be trying to sell the license plate with the help of an Arab financier. Hannibal, pursuing Pike alone, makes a deal with Lynch for full team reinstatement and a clean record in exchange for the license plate. Lynch agrees, and Hannibal escapes, killing Faith and BA. Murdock is freed. The team hijacks a C-130, but it is destroyed by a pursuing Reaper UCAV, but the team parachutes in an M8 light tank hidden on board. They change direction in the air and begin firing into space to slow their descent, and Sosa realizes that this means they are “flying the tank” and are ultimately going to make it safely to the ground.
