Sarkar (transl. Government) is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language political action film directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. The film stars Vijay as Sundar Ramaswamy, a corporate raider who returns to Tamil Nadu from the United States to cast his vote in the legislative assembly elections.
