The film opens with Kalyan Krishna arriving in Virginia to visit his friend Kalyan, who has settled there with his wife, Naina. Kalyan shares stories about his son, Robin Hood, who is quite the opposite of his father in character. Robin, always seeking comfort in life, decides to move to Hyderabad to reclaim a plot of land that Settlement Durga has unlawfully seized from his family. Determined to challenge Durga, Robin moves into the home of Pandit Ravi Teja, an astrologer involved in the land grab, and begins to make Pandit’s life a living hell. Amid this chaos, Chaitra, an aspiring writer who has developed a crush on Robin, finds herself rejected. However, she makes a deal with him: if he falls in love with her before he returns to Virginia, he must stay with her.
Meanwhile, a group of villagers from Vilaspur, a small town under the oppressive rule of the ruthless landlord Solomon Singh Thakur, are sent to follow Robin. They believe he is the savior who can help free their village from the Thakur’s tyranny. Robin successfully recovers his family’s land, but just as he is about to leave, he realizes he has developed feelings for Chaitra. When he tries to meet her, he witnesses her being kidnapped by the villagers. A diary belonging to Chaitra reveals her connection to Vilaspur, prompting Robin to journey there to find her. Upon his arrival, the villagers stage various schemes to ensure he stays and confronts the Thakur. However, their efforts are frequently undermined by a skeptical villager named Venkataratnam, who often belittles their plans.
