Baby Movie Story

In response to the 26/11 attacks in India, a temporary task force led by Feroz Ali Khan is established to track down and eliminate terrorists plotting further attacks. During a mission to rescue a fellow agent in Turkey, Ajay Singh Rajput captures Jamaal, a former colleague who has turned traitor. In a desperate attempt to extract information about an imminent terror attack, Ajay threatens Jamaal’s family. Under duress, Jamaal reveals a plot to detonate a bomb in a Delhi shopping mall, which Ajay successfully thwarts with the help of Jai. However, Jamaal taunts Ajay about this being just the beginning of a series of catastrophic attacks before committing suicide.

The film shifts focus to Maulana Mohammed Abdul Rehman, a Pakistan-based terrorist mastermind, who is orchestrating chaos near the India-Pakistan border. He devises an escape plan for Bilal Khan, a dangerous terrorist imprisoned in Mumbai. To facilitate this, Bilal enlists Javed Ali Khan, who arrives in Mumbai via Dubai. When Bilal escapes police custody, Indian intelligence is alerted to Javed’s presence, prompting a team of ATS officers, led by Ajay, to interrogate Taufiq, an ISI agent masquerading as a local Muslim leader. After torturing Taufiq, Ajay learns about Javed’s whereabouts and organizes a raid on Javed’s hideout. However, the operation goes horribly wrong, resulting in the deaths of all officers except Ajay, who barely escapes a suicide explosion set off by Javed. The agency manages to recover Javed’s laptop, uncovering a name on the hard drive: Wasim Sheikh, a logistics planner for terrorist groups living in Nepal under the alias Abdul Haq. Ajay and Shabana Khan travel to Nepal, posing as a married couple to capture Wasim. Their plan unravels when Wasim discovers Shabana’s true identity as a covert operative. In a fierce struggle, Shabana knocks him unconscious, and they successfully bring him back to India. Fearing the torture he might face, Wasim divulges crucial information: Bilal is currently in Al-Dera, Saudi Arabia, and plans to travel to Karachi to orchestrate a lethal attack on multiple locations in India.

Baby Movie Review

In the film Baby, the team eventually heads to the Middle East, where they successfully capture Maulana, the Pakistani terrorist who has been a significant thorn in their side. I particularly appreciate how he looks after they shave him; his skin appears so clean and clear. From that point onward, the film turns into a gripping thriller. Every moment is filled with tension, making it feel like they might get caught at any second. However, when they finally bring Maulana in, there’s a sense of relief—though I still found myself anxious about potential complications, which thankfully didn’t arise.

Baby excels in its acting, choreography, and cinematography, utilizing real weapons effectively and staying true to its themes. It offers a compelling portrayal of the issues at hand and suggests how they could have been addressed with greater responsibility from our government. This is a film I could watch repeatedly, simply for how captivating and visually striking it is. It’s not something I typically associate with military movies, which is why I find Baby to be so unique and special.
