Mathu Vadalara Movie Story
Babu and Yesu are delivery men and close friends living with their roommate Abhi, who is currently unemployed and spends his days binge-watching crime TV shows. Struggling to make ends meet, Yesu reveals his sneaky method of stealing from clients and encourages Babu to do the same. Initially hesitant, Babu eventually decides to try this approach. The following day, he heads to an isolated gated apartment complex and experiences a series of unusual encounters: he collides with Tejaswi from flat 503, crosses paths with Banerjee, a police constable conducting passport verification, and meets a resident named Ravi.
Babu finally reaches apartment 401, where he delivers a package to an elderly woman. While there, he stealthily steals a ₹500 note and tries to convince her that she underpaid him. When she sees through his ruse, a scuffle ensues, resulting in the elderly woman falling to the ground. Upon realizing she is lifeless, Babu imagines his friends Yesu and Abhi advising him on how to handle the situation and cover up his crime. In a panic, he carries her body to her room to make it appear as if she died peacefully in her sleep. During this chaotic moment, he notices Bujji, who has been home all along, lost in her music with headphones on.
Mathu Vadalara Movie Review
Thriller is not a new genre for the Telugu film industry, especially in recent years, where numerous outstanding films have emerged. However, what sets this film apart is how impeccably it conveys its message and presents its narrative. Ritesh Rana not only succeeded in delivering a captivating movie but also imparted valuable lessons to contemporary commercial directors. The pop-cultural references are absolute gems, and I believe this is one of the first Indian films to incorporate such a wealth of them. Don’t miss this film; it could easily become one of your favorites and is definitely worth your time!
