Brochevarevarura (translated as Who Shall Save the Day?) is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language crime comedy film written and directed by Vivek Athreya. Produced by Vijay Kumar Manyam under the Manyam Productions banner, the film stars Sree Vishnu, Nivetha Thomas, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Satyadev, with supporting roles played by Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna. The music for the film was composed by Vivek Sagar, while cinematography and editing were handled by Sai Sriram and Ravi Teja Girijala, respectively.

Brochevarevarura Movie Story
Vishal is an assistant director who finally gets the chance to direct his debut film. Eager to cast actress Shalini in the lead role, he faces challenges in reaching out to big stars due to his film being low-budget and his crew mostly new to the industry. However, Vishal manages to obtain Shalini’s email address and sends her a short film based on his script. Impressed by the plot, she agrees to meet him to hear the full story. They meet at a restaurant where Vishal presents his narrative. The story revolves around Radha Krishna, a college principal, who has enrolled his only daughter, Mitra, in the same college. There, she encounters a group of notorious backbenchers known as the ‘R3’ batch—Rahul, Rambabu “Rambo,” and Rakesh “Rocky”—who have been failing their grades for several years.
One day, in an attempt to steal their answer sheets, the trio spots Mitra sitting near the staff room and becomes apprehensive since she is the principal’s daughter. To cover up their intentions, Rahul concocts a story about his ailing grandmother. The next day, when the lecturer reveals the scores, it turns out that Rakesh had placed Rahul’s answer sheet in the staff room, leading the lecturer to believe that the three of them did not steal the papers, while ironically, the other two thought the same thing.
Brochevarevarura Movie Review
Brochevarevarura is a simple, neat, and well-orchestrated family movie. I started watching it on Prime with some hesitation, initially thinking I might stop, but the engaging screenplay pulled me into one scene after another. At a certain point, it transformed into a nail-biting suspense thriller that kept me hooked until the end. The way the suspense was resolved was well done, and I appreciated the subtle moral about human values and ethics, reminding students to be cautious. Kudos to the young director and talented cast for their fantastic work — you really entertained our family!
