In 2010, Indian Army officer Arjun Shergill leads a mission to capture terrorist Rehman Gul, who had attacked an Indian army convoy two days earlier. After a fierce shootout at Rehman’s hideout, Arjun successfully apprehends Rehman and prevents a suicide bombing, only to discover that the bomber is Rehman’s own son, Hamid Gul. Fast forward 12 years, Arjun meets and falls in love with Ayesha, an air hostess, at Mumbai Airport. However, their happiness is short-lived when the airport is attacked by Hamid’s men. In the attack, Ayesha is tragically killed, and Arjun is left paralyzed from the neck down. V.K. Subramaniam, Arjun’s superior and Chief of Indian Intelligence, proposes a supersoldier program operated by AI to the Prime Minister.
The program, developed by DRDO scientist Sabaha Qureshi, has been in the works for seven years and is nearing a breakthrough.The Prime Minister approves the project, and Subramaniam chooses Arjun as the candidate for the program.
