Development of the film began in 2017, when Salman expressed interest in working with Periyasamy. Principal photography took place in Goa and Delhi from 18 November 2017 to 24 July 2018. The film’s music is by Masala Coffee and Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
The film was released in theatres on 28 February 2020 and was a huge hit at the box office.

Two con artists, Siddharth and Kaliswaran, who make money through online shopping scams, love Meera, a hairdresser, and Shreya, a cook, respectively, while posing as software developers. However, Meera and Shreya hide that they are con artists who try to deceive Siddharth and Kaliswaran by pretending to love them.
DCP Pratap Chakravarthy, who is also a victim of Meera, starts investigating how the laptops purchased through Siddharth and Kaliswaran’s scam were arrested. They buy the devices, replace the original parts with old ones, and resell them along with computer parts. Siddharth realizes this and wants to change his plan to steal cars.
Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal Movie Review
I loved this film, it was refreshing and breezy. A must watch in theatres to experience the excellent cinematography and unexpected twists. I went to the cinema thinking this film would be okay as there were no other big films releasing. But after watching it, I did not regret it. Hats off to the debut director for a brilliant plot and direction. Dulquer was perfect for the role with his attractive looks and his acting was perfect. Rakshan’s timing and comedy gave the film a special flavour. Both the heroines were well acted and did their jobs very well and last but not least, GVM was a stylish and cool cop.
