The film stars Allari Naresh and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles, with Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma and Praveen in supporting roles. The plot depicts the life of Surya Prakash (Naresh), a remand prisoner who is falsely accused of murder and awaiting sentence.

Naandhi Movie Story
Surya (Allari Naresh) is a middle-class software employee living a happy life with his parents and fiancé. One fine day, he is suddenly arrested for the murder of a prominent activist and sentenced to five years in prison. At this point, a lawyer (Varalakshmi Sarathkumar) comes into Surya’s life and bails him out of jail. The rest of the story is about how Surya takes revenge on the culprit by filing a case under Section 211. What kind of case is this? And how Surya uses it to catch criminals is part of the story.
Naandhi Movie Review
Allari Naresh is a superb actor. His one-man show ensures that the audience is engrossed and witnesses Surya’s difficult times and his selfless attitude. Varalakshmi, though she doesn’t make an appearance until the middle of the film, gives a convincing portrayal of the confident and determined Aadhya. Priyadarshi’s light-hearted performance adds humour to an otherwise serious social drama. Devi Prasad’s cousin is the only character who is a companion of Surya and her portrayal was very organic.
Nandi is a relevant and hard-hitting legal drama that highlights the lives of many people who have been destroyed by police brutality and highlights the importance of justice to them.
