the film is the sequel to Avatar (2009) and the second installment in the Avatar film series. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldanha, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, C.C.H. Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao and Matt Gerard reprise their roles from the previous film, with Sigourney Weaver returning in a different role and Kate Winslet joining the cast. The film follows a Na’vi, a blue-skinned humanoid named Jake Sully (Worthington), who seeks refuge with his family from the aquatic Metkaina race on the habitable exomoon Pandora in the face of a new threat to humanity.
However, the addition of two more sequels, making a total of five Avatar films, and the need to develop new technology to film underwater performance capture scenes (a feat that had never been accomplished before), caused significant delays to give production staff more time to work on the script, pre-production, and visual effects.

Avatar: The Way of Water Movie Review
Director James Cameron is known for bringing out the best in his cast and crew. All the actors delivered great performances. Jake’s Sully was outstanding with a wide variety of expressions and emotions. He maintained the same intensity and left an impression.
Zoe Saldana, Cliff Curtis, and Kate Winslet matched him well and gave the scene something authentic with their performances. The actors who played the child roles brought good emotions and completed the story.
